The Town of Sunnyvale contracts with Republic Services for solid waste services. To contact Republic Services, please call (972) 225-4207.

Republic Services picks up in Sunnyvale weekly on Tuesday and Friday. Please make sure your cart is at the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day.

There is no limit to the number of trash cans residents set out, as long as it's safe and manageable for the Republic Services crew.
Brush will be picked up as long as it's cut in four-foot sections and stacked three-feet high or less.
Republic Services will pick up appliances with the freon removed and that have been stickered by a professional service.

Republic Services observes:

Should any of these occur on a Tuesday or Friday then services will continue the next day.

20 and 30 yard roll-off dumpsters are available through Republic Services
95-gallon trash cans are available for rent at $3.50 per month
Appliances must have freon removed and stickered by a professional service
Special pick-ups can be arranged through Republic Services at homeowner's expense
