General Information

The Sunnyvale Municipal Court has jurisdiction over Class C misdemeanors and Town Ordinance Violations that occur within the corporate Town limits and are punishable by fine only. Its activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collecting fines and court costs
  • Issuing warrants of arrest
  • Pretrial hearings and trials

Dispose of Citation

When you receive a citation*, you have 30 days to dispose of your citation. You may have several options (PDF) available to dispose of your citation. Once you have determined which option you would prefer, you may continue through our online system.

*Please allow five business days for the Court to receive your citation. 

In all emailed correspondence with the Court please provide:

  • Your name;
  • Address;
  • Citation number;
  • Date of birth; and
  • Phone number.

Juveniles

Juveniles 16 years of age and younger, are required by law to appear in court with a parent or legal guardian.
