Watch for heavy equipment along the wooded trail area at Town Center Park . The Parks Department has temporarily closed that area for safety maintenance work. Crews are in the process of removing more than 60 trees along the trail that have been damaged likely due to drought and winter freeze conditions. These dead trees present a hazard to trail users.
Work is expected to be complete and the trail reopened sometime next week.
Updates will be posted to the Town website and social media when work is complete.
