Collins & Tripp Road Intersections
In November 2014, the Town Council conducted a Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) to review current traffic levels, and the impact of projected future growth for North Collins and Tripp Road.As a result of that analysis the Council directed the elimination of the North Tripp intersection stop signs and the installation of a traffic signal at the south Tripp intersection as an intermediary measure to mitigate current traffic congestion at the intersections.  The Town Council continues to review and assess recommendations provided in the TIA to determine the best course of action for mitigating increasing traffic in the area.  Currently, the Town is working with engineers to complete an intersection control evaluation to develop data on the varying long-term traffic control options and their impacts.

The Town has conducted several community meetings on roundabouts, and posted an online survey.
