The Board of Adjustment is appointed by the Town Council and is comprised of five regular members (and two alternates) who serve two-year staggered terms.
Overview
The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board whose purpose is to conduct hearings and take action regarding variance requests of anyone seeking relief from the literal enforcement of the Unified Development Ordinance. The Board may also hear and decide any appeals alleging an error in an administrative official’s interpretation of the Unified Development Ordinance. The Board of Adjustment meets regularly on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m.
