The Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing information to a variety of external stakeholders, and distributes the information in a timely manner across a number of platforms.

The Town offers a wide variety of ways to stay up to date on Town operations. 

1. Sign up for emergency alerts                

The most important step; The Town uses CivicReady to alert our citizens of time-sensitive, critical information during emergencies.

2. Sign up to receive the weekly newsflash

Fill out the form on the right (or at the bottom if you are a mobile user) to subscribe to the weekly NewsFlash. The NewsFlash is sent out every Friday. "Special" NewsFlashes are sent as needed.

3. Check out the town's web Content              

The Town's website is a one-stop shop. From streaming Boards and Commissions meetings to the status of current development projects, important documents, the Town Council's goals, and upcoming events; it's all on the web!

4. Sign up for notifications when the town posts new web content                

The Town's website has a special feature that allows you to setup and customize what you want to know. Subscribe to receive emails letting you know when we have posted agendas, minutes, news items, events, bid opportunities, and job postings.

5. Follow us on social media                

In an ongoing effort to maintain effective communication to and with residents and other audiences, the Town of Sunnyvale uses a variety of social media platforms as a way to deliver information directly to users and to encourage resident involvement, interaction, and feedback. Updated almost daily, this is the best place to get engaged online!
