Town of Sunnyvale Parks Department staff have temporarily closed the wooded trail area at Town Center Park for safety maintenance work.
Staff have identified more than 60 trees in that area that have been damaged likely due to drought and winter freeze conditions. These dead trees present a hazard to trail users and will need to be removed. This work will begin as soon as possible and is expected to last three to six weeks.
Updates will be posted to the Town website and social media when work is complete.
